
YES! There are programs at Langara College to keep debts low.
I am always on the lookout for opportunities to reduce my debt. More importantly, I like to see more $$ in my bank account than on my bills.

Hope everyone had a great week! I was enjoying myself jumping in the puddles with my blue rain boots. Walking to school can be boring, but I find ways to entertain myself, one way or another.

Credit cards! I remember my first credit card was the CIBC Classic Visa. This reminds me, I need to cancel it soon! I applied for my first visa when I was 19. Without any income or a job, CIBC didn’t have an awesome deal for students like me. There was a small credit limit and I used it for improving my credit until I can apply for a mortgage, as my mom would say. You need to earn credit in order to borrow for mortgage? Ok, I get the point.
After using credit cards for big and small purchases, from buying snacks at Superstore to paying for a week’s worth of groceries, I can’t walk out my house without my credit card anymore!
